Guidelines for Poster Presentation

All participants presenting posters at the National Seminar are requested to adhere to the following instructions to ensure uniformity and effective communication:

Poster Size & Orientation

  • Dimensions: 3 feet (width) × 4 feet (height) – Portrait Orientation
  • Posters must be printed and brought by the participants (no digital displays)

Content Structure

Your poster should include the following sections clearly:

  1. Title (bold and readable from 6 feet distance) 
  2. Author(s) and Affiliation(s)
  3. Introduction / Background
  4. Objectives
  5. Methodology
  6. Results & Discussion
  7. Conclusion
  8. References (if applicable)
  9. Acknowledgements (optional)

Design Guidelines

  • Use legible fonts (minimum 24 pt for body text; 36+ pt for headings)
  • Maintain visual clarity with bullet points, graphs, tables, and images
  • Avoid overcrowding text – keep it concise and engaging
  • Use high-resolution images and readable color contrasts

Poster Display & Evaluation

  • Posters must be mounted between 8:30 AM and 9:15 AM on the seminar day
  • Pins or clips will be provided at the venue
  • Presenters should be available near their posters during the assigned evaluation slot for interaction with judges and participants

 Poster Awards

  • Best posters will be awarded based on clarity, scientific content, design, and presenter interaction

Guidelines for Oral presentation

All selected oral presenters are requested to follow the instructions below to ensure smooth and effective delivery during the technical sessions:

Presentation Duration

  • Total Time Allotted: 7 minutes for presentation
  • Discussion/Q&A: Will take place at the end of the session (not immediately after each presentation) 

 Presentation Format

  • Prepare your slides in PowerPoint (PPT/PPTX) or PDF format
  • Bring your presentation on a USB drive and report to the session hall 15 minutes before the session begins
  • File naming convention: [PresenterName_SessionCode] (e.g., VishnuVarthini_AG01)

Presentation Structure

Recommended slide breakdown:

  1. Title Slide (Title, Author(s), Affiliation)
  2. Introduction & Objectives
  3. Methodology
  4. Key Results
  5. Discussion
  6. Conclusion & Future Scope

 Delivery Tips

  • Use simple, clear visuals and bullet points
  • Avoid overcrowding slides with too much text
  • Practice timing in advance to stay within the 7-minute limit

 Evaluation Criteria

  • Clarity and organization
  • Scientific content and relevance
  • Presentation skills
  • Engagement during the discussion session

Note :

The per day registration fee includes lunch, refreshments, and a seminar kit for all registered delegates. And all the Seminar Participants will be given free access to the workshops and stalls for the registered day. Complimentary accommodation will be provided for outstation participants who register in advance.

Delegates seeking premium accommodation options, or those registering on the spot, may choose to stay in nearby hotels on a self-payment basis. The Local Organizing Committee will assist in facilitating such arrangements to the best extent possible.
