📌 About
Dr. K. Alagusundaram currently serves as the Managing Director & CEO of TNAPEx, a Government of Tamil Nadu initiative to promote food processing and agricultural exports. He is a renowned agri-engineering expert and former Deputy Director General at ICAR, New Delhi.
🎓 With a Ph.D. in Food Process Engineering from the University of Manitoba (Canada), and decades of leadership in IICPT, ICAR, and TNAU, he has made significant strides in mechanization, food innovation, and policy for agri exports.
📈 At TNAPEx, he now leads efforts to empower farmers, agri startups, FPOs, and entrepreneurs across Tamil Nadu in scaling value-added agri products and tapping into global markets.
🧪 His research includes 75+ publications, global presentations, and transformative work in food quality, cold plasma tech, and farm-to-fork processing.

Leads the mission of empowering farmers, students, and rural entrepreneurs with agri-based technical skills. Under his leadership, TNAPEX drives transformative training and industry partnerships across Tamil Nadu.
